Race Events and Camps Disclaimer
In order to book a camp, race or event, you will need to fully read, understand, and accept the following disclaimer to complete your booking.
Loco Parentis (Camps)
As with all sports, there is always the possibility or risk that your child may require emergency medical treatment whilst training / competing. Ambition staff & coaches therefore, need your permission to act in loco parentis should the situation require this (parents will of course be informed of any such occurrence as soon as is practical) but the priority will always be the care of the child);
“I, as the parent of a child attending an Ambition Camp, give my full consent for a member of Ambition staff to consent for my child to receive emergency medical or/and dental treatment on the recommendation of a qualified medical or dental practitioner. This includes permission for them to consent for anaesthesia or/and blood transfusion should the need arise.”
Practical Training Notes (Camps)
“I give my permission for my child to be involved in ski race training and other activities during Ambition Camps and I confirm that they carry appropriate insurance to cover them for ski racing.”
“I give consent for the coaches of Ambition to carry out video analysis with our son/daughter. We give consent for photographic and video equipment to be used by Ambition for promotional, publicity & training purposes.”
Competitions (Races)
“I agree to have the correct personal insurance / governing body registrations in place to be able to compete at the required level for any entered events. I realise that entering an event and taking part in an event is my own choice and at my own risk.”
“I agree that I / my child may be photographed during Ambition Racing competitions for promotional use. I agree that I can opt out of this agreement by contacting the race organisers.”
