Introduction
The Academic Programme
At Ambition Racing, we believe that greatness extends far beyond the slopes. Our mission is not only to cultivate fast alpine skiers but to nurture well-rounded individuals who excel in all areas of life. This philosophy is embedded in our comprehensive academic and educational programme, which runs annually from November to April.
Guided by a team of dedicated and passionate teachers and tutors, we create an environment where student-athletes can thrive academically while immersing themselves in daily alpine training. Our structure balances rigorous educational pursuits with athletic development, enabling each student to achieve their fullest potential, both intellectually and physically.
The Alpine Programme
Our alpine training programmes and facilities at Ambition are truly unparalleled. Designed to accommodate varying levels of commitment based on age, our programmes offer flexible, core, and full-time options to meet the unique needs and development goals of the team. Training is conducted across a range of locations, both within the UK and abroad, incorporating snow halls, dry slopes, glaciers, and destinations in the southern hemisphere. Ambition Racing stands out as one of the few British programmes to have invested in its own academy base – a significant advantage that cannot be overstated.
The Pastoral Programme
Athlete safeguarding is the backbone of Ambition Racing’s pursuit of excellence. We believe winners aren’t just forged in competition but in environments where strength is matched by security and well-being. At Ambition Racing, we demand greatness—but we also ensure that every athlete trains and thrives in a supportive, safe, and disciplined setting.
Our academy base is equipped with a full-time houseparent whose task is to oversee the welfare and mental resilience of our high-performing team. This individual is always positioned to ensure that every athlete is focused, driven, and mentally fortified to conquer their goals. Should any concerns arise, our safeguarding team at safeguarding@ambitionracing.co.uk operates with absolute professionalism and discretion, adhering strictly to the Snowsports Snowsafe policy.
